I recently had the pleasure of visiting UnitingSA Wesley House Aged Care and was thoroughly impressed with the facility. The recently re-developed building is modern and eco-friendly, and even received an Award for Excellence in Aged Living Design at the Aged & Community Services SA&NT Awards The vibrant community of 168 residents enjoys modern living areas, beautiful sun-filled courtyards and an on-site cafe where they can socialize with family and friends. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing 24-hour care and allied health services such as physiotherapy, podiatry, and dietetics. There is also a secure memory support unit for residents with dementia One of the highlights of my visit was seeing the ultra-realistic dog statues scattered throughout the facility. They were so lifelike that I had to do a double-take to make sure they weren't real! It added a touch of humor and whimsy to the already welcoming atmosphere Overall, I highly recommend UnitingSA Wesley House Aged Care for anyone looking for a welcoming and caring environment for themselves or their loved ones
