I cannot simply express in words my sincere appreciation to one very gifted surgeon, Dr Zahi Khouri. From my first consultation at MaxFax, Dr Khouri has both a welcoming and comforting nature, all the while being completely honest regarding the complexity of my impacted wisdom teeth. I was informed on my entire procedure and the risks associated, aswell as my recovery expectations. My surgery was then booked at Burnside Hospital under general anaesthesia a few weeks later. The morning of my surgery and once arriving in theatre, Dr Khouri thoroughly re-explained my procedure to me, reassuring me I was going to be ok. He even applauded the fact that I was smiling and not overcome with my anxieties, his acknowledgement was encouraging. After waking in the recovery room, Dr Khouri visited me and informed me my impacted wisdom teeth were extremely difficult to remove but nonetheless my surgery went very well and to expect the general soreness, swelling and bruising. Once home, I examined my mouth and was absolutely amazed, as was my husband, to how clean, neat and tidy the site and stitches were. It's results such as this that are evident of Dr Khouri's experience and talent, and is worth admiration. My recovery went genuinely well, having only experienced some discomfort with a stiff jaw. I took panadol on two occasions and never once required the pain medication I was prescribed by the anaesthetist. My husband also received phone calls by the lovely staff at MaxFax, who were all so caring in making sure I was ok throughout my recovery, tending to all our questions or concerns. Overall, an incredibly kind and knowledgeable team at MaxFax. For someone with a low tolerance for pain, my entire surgery and recovery experience could not have been more wonderful, and that is all thanks to Dr Khouri. Dr Khouri's expertise and craftsmanship are of the highest order, concluding in what patients like myself could only hope for; a safe and effective outcome. Thank you so much Dr Khouri.

Many thanks to Dr Khouri for the excellent work he did to remove my broken teeth and set up a post to fit my new teeth on. Also great work by the ladies on staff who were exceptionally helpful and sorted out all the hospital and other visits I have required over the past 16 months.

Very professional and utilizes best practices. Had a wisdom tooth removed and obtained second opinion on an existing implant and second stage surgery. Very pleased with Dr Khouri's advice and service.
