Our experience started well. We had very good pre-sale service and a thoughtful consultative process, which led us to select Vision Vinyl Planks for our project. Our consultant made excellent suggestions on colour choice that worked very well with our renovation. The installed planks are aesthetically pleasing, and the sound reduction qualities have exceeded our expectations - the house is noticeably quieter. The planks have a pleasant, non-slip texture. We were able to book in installation quickly, without fuss. Carpet Court was the most expensive quote, but due to the excellent service to this point, we chose to work with them. The house and previous floating floors had been in place for 16 years and had held up well without issue. We expected the new floor to be laid with comparable or better quality. Regrettably, the installation quality did not meet our expectations. To ensure my expectations were reasonable and in line with industry standards, I engaged with professionals on the matter. Their opinions included, "Are you sure they have finished?" and "This is shoddy workmanship." Issues include, as per the photos, planks lifting within mere days of installation; newly installed transitions to tiled areas damaged and covered in flooring adhesive; and damaged beading from the previous floor slapped loosely on the new floor and immediately coming loose. Based on the poor quality work, as seen in the photos, and feeling like our concerns were dismissed, we chose to engage other contractors to rectify the issues at significant additional cost to us. Our attempts to communicate with Carpet Court about these installation defects were met with pointing to the contractual terms and conditions without giving our concerns due consideration.

Disappointing service. We were booked in and a week before our date, due to sick leave (understandable), we were delayed. However delayed three and a half weeks felt excessive, and when we asked for more explanation to help us understand, or if they could get anyone else from another store to help, we felt dismissed and oh well too bad. Save yourself time and go somewhere else. We feel they maybe didnt schedule the jobs well, overbooked and then made excuses.

Wouldnt recommend anyone but carpet court Mt barker. There service and advice was above and beyond. From first walking in and meeting Holly right through till after installation everything was a breeze and Im very happy with the final product.
