Got a call claiming they are from the branch. Refuse to give details over the phone. Maddie proceed to act like I was the one who made contact. Rude, better move to a different bank

Went in this morning to deposit a large amount. While waiting for my receipt, something rushed from an office somewhere to tell me that I need to remove my cap and glasses to be served. So rude, not impressed at all with the way the manager conducted herself towards me, and in front of a queue of people.

To help my elderly mum every fortnight I deposit her rent into my account in the automatic teller machine at this branch and pay her rent for her as she understandably finds it all way too overwhelming. Last Thursday I inserted the money and after a lengthy time of counting the machine decided to say there was an issue and the action was cancelled. It then spat out less than a third of the money I deposited with no receipt which I had requested. The staff member was patient and apologetic but said it would take 4 to 6 weeks to resolve the issue and as long as the machine is counted as being that exact amount over I should get it back. I inserted half the amount of notes it can handle (apparently it's 50 notes) and they were in a neat straight pile which I always do. So I am now short a decent amount of money and not even sure I'll get it back! I left with only a reference number and the fact that the actual bank has no connection to these machines is a major concern! Very disappointing and please be careful depositing money into the machines......I'll be lining up from now on!!

The branch was hard to find. It is opposite Kmart in Tea Tree Plaza but the location information didn't include which entry, only that it is somewhere in the shopping centre. Enter from the Target/Kmart carpark or the rooftop. The tellers where absolutely lovely and did everything they could to help! However, the overall service from NAB via the branch and over the phone was abysmal. It took 2 phone calls (1+ hour) then 3 people at the branch (another hour waiting) to close a credit card. The card was closed a decade ago but remained open due to incompetence or computer error and despite admitting it was an error, wouldn't close it on the phone, insisting I take time off work to drive to a branch. The branch had to call the same unhelpful phone line I did, and wait on hold for ages like I did. I then had to speak on the phone to an offshore call centre. The phone operator made it as difficult as possible, didn't seem to understand the request and wouldn't accept information from the teller, insisting I had to provide account numbers (that I didn't know, it was closed a decade ago supposedly). I don't understand why the branch can't fix anything. Now I remember why I refinanced a decade ago.
