A wonderful setting, excellent staff and good wines. We had the degustation lunch, which was a little disappointing. A number of the dishes were by design, served cold or warm - which would have been appropriate during the warmer months. Perhaps on the cusp of winter, one cold dish would certainly had been fine, but not more than that.

I had high hopes it was going to be a delicious and fulfilling Mothers Day lunch but was disappointed. Last time we visited, about 4 years ago it was excellent but the menu today was very underwhelming, it looked nice but no favour and under cooked. At $105 per person we all left hungry and disappointed and we actually had to have an extra persons meals as the fourth guest was sick and unable to make it but the manager made us have their food come out and pay because I booked for 4.
Dont even think about bringing children to the restaurant. A man, who I believe was the owner was extremely unfriendly and gave the impression that we were unwelcome. He was watching my kids run around on the outside deck like a hawk and said the kids might break the metal strings for the stair rails. At one point the kids were running around on the grass area and then went near the house which is right next to the restaurant and no space between the two and he was very annoyed saying this is private property and to move away, the kids are 2 and 4. The hospitality from the owner was unacceptable .
The venue is gorgeous and some of the waitresses were nice but the male waiter was also really unfriendly and came across as rude
Will unfortunately not come back here again.

We had the 3 course menu lunch and it was disappointing. We been here before 2 years ago for Easter and it was not the same, they must have changed chef.
The room was cold, wished they turned on the heater.
Staff was nice.
