    I will probably not buy furniture at King Living again. It looks gorgeous and is presented beautifully on the website with very high prices to match. However, the overall experience doesn't meet expectations. I wish I'd paid more attention to the negative reviews before I purchased from them. Delivery was annoying to organise, I was given a date that was not suitable so I cancelled it online thinking I could then rebook a date of my choosing. Not so. I was supposed to then wait for an agent to contact me, presumably with another unsuitable date and a long back and forth would ensue. After waiting hours with no reply regarding delivery, I just called the store directly and arranged it myself, wondering why I had to pay $300 for a "premium" delivery service. The delivery men were actually fabulous, very professional and friendly, and they unpacked and loaded the entertainment unit with great care. They tidied the packing materials so quickly, I never saw them. They also discovered damage in several places to the unit and didn't waste any time in bringing it to my attention. I am very thankful for their honesty and transparency. They took photos and promised to report the damage back to King and true to their word, within a matter of minutes I had received both email and SMS notification that the delivery was unsuccessful. As for the product quality, the unit is beautiful in design but not execution. Mine arrived with a split top and a drooping cabinet door because the board underneath the hinge had given out. Even on sale, I feel like I paid too much. Much like everything else in the mass manufactured furniture market, it is basically overpriced veneered particle board, but upwards of double the price of the likes of Freedom. However, by comparison, Freedom have not charged me for home delivery and nothing has arrived damaged. If you're spending thousands of dollars on furniture, the materials and build quality should be very sturdy. I will update this review to mention how customer service handle replacement of the unit, along with the quality of the replacement.

    I purchased a bed from your Adelaide store The bed was delivered to my house .Initially, I was excited about the purchase and looked forward to enjoying a comfortable and durable bed. However, upon the King living deliveryman setting up the bed . I I discovered that it is broken at the sametime. I sent threes time to the customer service department. Unfortunately. I have been waiting for 3 months already. No any response so far. I would like to highlight that this issue is particularly disappointing as I have always regarded your brand as reliable and of high quality. The substandard condition of the bed suggests a lapse in quality control or manufacturing standards, which is unexpected from a reputable furniture company like yours. I hope your company to replace a new bed immediately. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend the brand to my friends anymore.

    In early December last year we purchased a new dining table and chairs with an expected deivery of late February/early March. When I called in January it was discovered there was a problem with the order and delivery wouldn't occur until late March. This wasn't too much of an issue for us. In late February I received a message informing us the chairs were available and they wanted to arrange part payment and delivery, I called to say there was no point delivering chairs until the table was ready and that we would wait. In mid April we finally took delivery of our entire order, however, a few hours after delivery I discovered a minor defect with one of the chairs which I immediately reported to their customer service and supplied photos. I was told someone would come to look at the chair after 10 days but there was no contact. I then messaged their customer service to find out what was happening and was then told a replacement cover had been ordered and that they would likely receive it mid to late July! We waited over 5 months for our order to arrive and now we have to wait another 3+ months to get a minor defect fixed. I would have thought this be rectified quickly within days not months. This is not the first time we've needed to use their customer service to rectify a problem which took just as long to rectify. The furniture is great but their ability to rectify issues quickly is frustrating and simply not good enough. Update: So I emailed King's customer care a few hours after they posted their follow up message below. It's now 2 days later and I haven't heard anything. Logged onto their portal where you can log issues and can see my open request for the faulty chair but I also see the request generated from my follow up email has been marked as "solved". How can it be solved if no one has contacted me? Simply not good enough, its not that hard to communicate and look after your customers.

    BUYER BEWARE!!!! Do not buy overpriced cheap furniture from this company. Ordered a lounge October 2022, was delivered early February 2023, I called them prior and asked for it to be inspected before delivery as there are so many complaints on line and all over social media (which they delete). They said they would. Upon delivery and after it was set up there were so many defects that over half the lounge had to be replaced. We wanted a refund which we all agreed that half the money was to be refunded prior to pick up and the other half seven working days after pick up. The first refund went through but the other half has not. There has been so many phone calls and emails and the best part is their customer service centre is in the Philippines and you have to deal with them because they dont answer emails . Lucky I paid with my credit card as I had to lodge a bank dispute with all their emails if not we probably wouldnt receive the money back. King, before you say that you dont have my contact details as you tell all your other poor customers here is my case number: ADE22100609. I am more than happy to post all the emails I have between us and also photos of the cheap lounge I was sold.

image I will probably not buy furniture at King Living again. It looks gorgeous and is presented beautifully on the website with very high prices to match. However, the overall experience doesn't meet expectations. I wish I'd paid more attention to the negative reviews before I purchased from them.
Delivery was annoying to organise, I was given a date that was not suitable so I cancelled it online thinking I could then rebook a date of my choosing. Not so. I was supposed to then wait for an agent to contact me, presumably with another unsuitable date and a long back and forth would ensue. After waiting hours with no reply regarding delivery, I just called the store directly and arranged it myself, wondering why I had to pay $300 for a "premium" delivery service.
