    I am a support coordinator and have used many different providers for equipment for people with NDIS. Max supplied an O.T to be there and they also wrote the report for the equipment. It has been amazing experience and I have suggested them to many happy participants that have chosen to use their services. It is an experience I have not had with any other providers. I highly recommend them for any of your assistive technology needs.

    Recently I had spinal operation that has left me with a drop foot. I initially hired a wheel chair from Max. As the strength in my leg improved we returned the wheelchair and bought a walker. At all times we found Max personnel to be prompt, courtesy and very helpful. The equipment was delivered promptly and adjusted to my needs. I can highly recommend Max Healthcare Equipment.

    Worst medical aid ever. Hired a Knee Wheeler for my sister whos in Strathalbyn. Didnt have any additional items to assist i.e shopping basket etc, the handle doesnt line up correctly to fasten the bolt? Took for ever to adjust. First and last time to use the company.

    Avoid this place at all costs!! While the initial service was good, that is where anything positive ended. In arranging to return a chair, I rang and was advised that I was paid through until the following week and would not have anything further to pay if I returned the item before this time. On that advice I arranged for my father in-law to return the chair the following day. When he got there and gave the chair back, they advised that there was an additional $40 to pay and implied that he was not allowed to leave the premises until this amount was paid!! (they said they did not want to have to chase the payment up so he had to pay on the spot). It is difficult to see how this wasn't preventing him from leaving voluntarily. My father in-law rang my wife, who offered to pay with a transfer and they refused to accept this payment, saying they needed a credit card or cash from my father in law on the spot. I had no issue to pay the outstanding amount as I had the credit card, and they had the contract with me (and despite the fact they had told me I had no amount outstanding) but they did not contact me and advise me of this. For a business that supposedly prides itself on care, it certainly does not care when it comes to dealing with people if it gets in the way of money.
