I anticipated seeking financial advice, to be like doing your taxes. I have to admit, I was wrong. Chris and his team, treated me like I was important and saw merit in all my goals, even the small ones. Over the course of two hours I was shown a great deal of information in an easy to understand language and how this information directly related to me. I was guided how to make the most out of my budget and encouraged to share my insights and story. Chris took the time to answer any and all concerns with professionalism and examples. He had no intentions of wasting any of the time we had booked together. I walked out after our appointment, relaxed, full of confidence and ready to take my next step towards my financial goals. I believe that when a company chooses words to reflect their business, it is done to convey the conviction and confidence they have in a service. The words they have chosen, reflected how i felt leaving. I was INSPIRED to approach my finances from a different angle I felt like my interests were PROTECTed I have confidence that when i RETIRE, it will be with financial freedom. A two hour appointment left me with this lasting impression. I will be back in 3-6 months after i have completed my short term goals.

Prior to engaging Chris as our financial adviser, we had been seeing another financial adviser with whom we were satisfied. We thought we were getting the right sort of advice that would help us through our retirement years. It was at a social gathering early in 2013 that Chris mentioned a few financial issues of which we were unaware. These were issues that we thought should have been addressed by our previous financial adviser. To cut a long story short, it turned out that had we stayed with our previous financial adviser, our future retirement funds would have been adversely affected. Chris alerted us to opportunities and options that would benefit our situation, consequently we decided to employ Chris as our financial adviser. Since then we have been more than satisfied with his advice and service and are already seeing the benefits (particular financial) that have been the result of his knowledge and initiative. And a bonus is that we tend to sleep more comfortably knowing that Chris has our interests at heart. Chris has been very professional, informative and helpful. Not once has he been pushy. He has the knack of explaining things in detail and in a simple way which is easily understood. In this day and age, people are quick to criticise a product or service that does not meet their expectations, but reluctant to compliment someone when the product/service exceeds their expectations. Well we think the quality service weve received from Chris and the team at Owl has been exceptional. We would not hesitate in recommending Chris as a financial adviser.
