I've had two great experiences here now, both last minute. The first was a redirection from the RAH on a Sunday so that I could be seen by a doctor quicker. The doctor, a man whose name I don't recall, alleviated my worries and I went home feeling a lot better. The second time, I was in desperate need to see a doctor last minute, and called numerous clinics who had nothing available the next day. I was incredibly lucky to get in to see Dr Louise Fischer who was just lovely - her approach was friendly, compassionate and non-judgemental. I could not have asked for a better doctor to handle the situation I went to the clinic with. Note that their phone situation isn't the best and they don't have an email contact. When I first called, the phone line said their clinic closed between 1-2pm. I suppose their admin staff have a break/catch up on work, but I started work at 3pm and was pressed for time. Today I've called five times because I realised after I left yesterday I forgot to book my follow up and they just haven't answered, even though they're open.

Aware I probably had a throat infection (had completely lost my voice) and needed antibiotics, I drove to the closest doctor at the Hindmarsh Medical Clinic as a walk-in. I was told it would be a 1 hour wait. I waited for over 3 hours only to be told they couldn't see me at all so I walked across to your medical centre (Hindmarsh Bowden Health) I was very upset and crying and the receptionist told me there were no appointments til next week. I asked what else I could do? I couldn't call anyone for an appointment as I had no voice. She told me I would have to go to the Emergency Dept! For antibiotics - I don't think they would be too happy about that so I left. Realising a bit later that I could probably go to an online doctor, (which I did, and had antibiotics 5 minutes later), I wondered why the receptionists couldn't have recommended this. Surely the shortage of GPs in Adelaide would make this a common problem. I suggest your medical centre has a training session for the staff about Telehealth, eScriptsonline and other options for patients in my situation. Thank you for your time. Regards, Lana Roark

Thankyou for implementing free masks for clients as per my previous comment , I came in today and was happy to see a client, who forgot her mask, was provided with one.Ive been going a client for over ten years and they have been constantly improving as time goes on and definitely customer oriented.
