I'm raiting this only a one star cause it doesn't allow zero stars hugely let down cause it seems to be always closed confused cause your an op shop and some op shops open on certain days but some open 5 days a week and your op shop seems to be the only one that I have ever come across to be always closed that to I can only rate just a one star I'm sorry for the harshness of my comment and the one star

This little op shop is hidden away within the St Andrews Glenelg church hall. Inside is the expected mix of trash and treasure in clothing, bric a brac, books and craft items. On the day I visited, there was a collection of rather nice wool (pity I cant knit or crochet any more), and a silver-plated teapot and a set of silver plated goblets seeking a polish. The huge collection of CDs, some unusual clear vases, armfuls of silk flowers and hand-crocheted nana doilies Id seen on a previous visit were all gone. It seems turnover can be brisk. If youre up to a hunt among the $3 seasonal clothing racks, there are some quality and near new items individually priced but still a bargain. The lovely ladies who volunteer tell me that all the money raised buys supplies for the community and food support program that operate in the shared space of the church hall. Well worth dropping in if youre in Jetty Rd. Bring cash as sales are cash only. The shop also takes donations of good items ie things you are happy to give to a friend. Note: To gain entry, look for the green gate between the church and the chemist on Jetty Road which opens from 11.30 am to 2.30 pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
