Very abrupt and unhelpful. Go to the Elizabeth Branch if you can. 3 years since this review was left. Today was the first time in 3 years since I have been in the Gawler branch. Nothing has changed. Now sitting in phone queue hoping for someone who doesn't talk down to customers as if they were idiots.

OMG we was greeted with such hostility this morning. Our experience prior has always been very friendly and efficient and we have been told we can bring our well behaved dog inside with us. A mature lady greeted us with "May I ask why your dog is inside" We explained that she had been welcomed in before with other staff. The mature hostile woman did not believe us. I felt awful. There is no way I would have bought my dog inside if It wasn't for the fact that we were welcomed inside with her. There is definitely either new staff in the Gawler Branch or mixed rules and communication within the branch. Regardless of this the situation could have been handled with less hostility quiet easily and with no offence. I feel very very unwelcome and will not be returning I will go back to using my bank where I am treated courteously. There was not one other customer in the branch either so it wasn't as if the staff member was stressed with customers. Some people are just not made for customer service or tired of it. Very defensive, and hostile and totally unnecessary.

I would not even give one star for this bunch; I have been a customer with people's choice for 10 years and my experience with the Gawler branch was extremely painful. I was told today but a staff member when I went into the branch instead of using the ATM put cash into my account that peoples Choice Gawler branch will not be excepting cash in the near future! I said to the staff members arent you worried about losing your job and she told me that she is a loan manager, and insinuated that was taking her away from her role to serve me and when I apologised for taking her away from her job role as a loan manager to put cash into my account! I was told not to put the word into the staff members mouth. No customer is welcome at this branch you need to use the ATM
