I called in the morning & they gave me an appointment for the same day. When I arrived, I didnt have to wait at all to see the doctor. Dr Leanne was really empathetic and nice & the receptionist was lovely, too. I felt really well looked after. Thank you for the great service

People of Coffin Bay doing it tough with very limited, and in my experience, inadequate medical service. I am a senior citizen, grey nomard, who fell and hit my head on a rock needing medical attention. No clinic open until 2.30pm. On my phone enquiry while sitting in my car outside the closed clinic the person I spoke to suggested I should drive myself to the Cummings hospital some 55km away. I pointed out I didn't feel it was safe to do so without medical evaluation. The lady then suggested I could wait for the doctor because they were about 20 minutes away and would arrive soon. The doctor looked at the wound site, asked me a few questions and said he thought it would be alright for me to drive myself to hospital for them to clean and stitch the wound. The doctor said he did not have the supplies or facilities to treat me. He said he would contact the hospital to tell them I was on my way. I ended up with 10 staples to close the wound at the hospital where I was well looked after. I am happy with the treatment I received at Cummins Hospital.
