Awful doctor, told me I was not in pain I was addicted, did the same graphs every visit made my mental health so bad I tried to commit suicide twice, then put me on sublocade and said it would help with pain , he just wants peoples money and doesnt want to hear anything you say about your pain worst doctor I ever went too

An amazing doctor and he literally saved my life . I suffer with severe fibromyalgia , I was at the point that the pain was becoming unbearable . He helped more than any of the hundred or more drs I went and saw for help . Dr Rhys Henning is truly incredible , was so nice to actually be listened to and to have a dr finally acknowledge the pain I was in .

I think its a shame there isnt a standard well thought out multilayered approach to providing pain medicines to our most vulnerable populations! I have nothing but respect for Dr Henning- hes quick to see through lies but is also willing to give your ideas on pain management serious consideration. Some people get flustered at his gruff demeanour I would think, but again would say he is a human, who is here to help where others will abandon you. Keep in mind though that good pain specialists are rare, and most seem to think what theyve learnt in the last 10 years is cutting edge and how it has to be. In the late 90s chronic pain was treated the same as palliative care,.. surely one day SA can go back to how Europe treats pain and forget the Americanism of our Health Care System, to me the UK should be our model as we are a part of the commonwealth

Highly recommend. Dr R Hennings has been an absolute life saver for me. I don't think id be around today if it wasn't for him.
