        We were in adelaide for several days as tourists, to ride busses and trains we were told we have to buy the metro card... few days later before leaving we asked for a refund for about 20$ still left on the cards and they refused it. When asking for alternatives because we won't come back to adelaide, they said: Find someone in the street who is willing to take it from you! That's just a bad and customer unfriendly System especially for tourists to rib you off some money! Not a good promotion for adelaide as a City either....
