Apex Self Defence

I've trained with Roen on and off since 2016 and can heartily recommend his classes to anyone. He is an amazing instructor, able to get concepts across very well and always takes care of his students. He is well versed in running fitness classes and is an expert in various forms of martial arts, self defence and boxing. You couldn't find a better person to teach you how to defend yourself.

Roen is a brilliant trainer. I've been learning from him since 2018 and have no hesitation at all in recommending him as an instructor. It's so enjoyable learning how to defend myself and also being able to have fun at the same time. I've also found improvements to my general fitness, coordination, confidence and mental health. He has tailored my training to suit my individual needs and targets perfectly, and our safety is always a high priority. I've trained under the instruction of Roen for 5+ years. Roen ensures safety within his training sessions and emphases a positive environment. Roen has a wealth of experience in a range of forms of fitness and more specifically self defence giving him more than enough knowledge to adapt techniques and combinations to best suit the individuals he instructs. Over time I've witnessed various instruction styles from Roen and how he tailors his methods in order to deliver what is most effective for the current audience and what they are trying to achieve.
