My first time here as I travel interstate from Sydney for my holiday to Adelaide and I was refer to see Clifford Kam by a local Adelaide GP as I had an eye infection. Clifford Kam who was very professional and attentive. He organise to meet me ASAP and met again face to face as I need to travel overseas. While im travelling overseas he continue to monitor my progess via email as I continue to travel. Also he wrote a letter to my optometrist in Sydney to continue to monitor my progress once I return. Really appreciated his help.

I completely disintegrated a pair of glasses, after emailing pics through the guys made an emergency (Covid) appt. The appt was super quick & my glasses fixed like brand new. Awesome work & a total relief.

"Spec Savers charge $40 for lenses... health partners charge $160!!!" These guys have NO nice designer branded glasses... often many unknown brands with exorbitant prices... and the designs they DO have, by known brands are very minimal... and incredibly generic looking. They really do scrape the bottom of the barrel when selecting their glasses from the distributor. Also .. they are VERY expensive glasses. MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER DISPENSARIES... Just for the lenses!!! When Spec Savers charge $40... health partners charge $160!!! Disgraceful! HUGE gap payment... even though they say you have up to $300 free... Then 40 per cent thereafter!!! When comparing... their prices for NON members are MUCH more expensive than other places. Not only do they gouge you with premiums... they up their prices on frames to get more profit! So much for a "not for profit" health fund! You'd be better off just saving the yearly $2000+ on Extras... and just paying $40 at your local Specsavers for a pair of glasses!!!

I went to have my eyes checked, I dont normally wear glasses, but at the end of the consult they recommended me to wear some, so fairly enough looking after my eye health I bought a pair, which havent since really worked for me. They have made me go back for reviews but making me pay for consults. My glasses didnt improve my vision. Its been overwhelming the amount of money I have had to spend for nothing. Although the girls in reception are very friendly and other staff members seem to be nice (which is the only reason why I am not giving them less than 2 stars), the optometrists there don't seem to be very experienced and don't really know how to look after the patient (I have been seen by two of them and seems like they don't listen). My chief complaint wasn't resolved nor taken into account from day 1. They wanted me to come back for another check up and to keep on spending, when they don't really know what's going on. But is not worth, I would only go there if an expert has already seen me beforehand elsewhere. Ps: They do have a nice range of glasses and other products.
