Tonkatsu

The pork katsu nails it. The taste and texture very similar from what I ate in Tokyo. (Of course it is not comparable with kurobuta pork which has good fat marbling.) Would be even perfect if they offer mortar to grind sesame to mix with tonkatsu sauce.

A Spur of the moment decision! The Rotsukatsu (Pork Loin with Curry) was thick, sweet and savoury with chunky potatoes and carrots. The Chicken Hirekatsu Nabe was a delicious twist on Oyako Don with an eggy and sweet soy sauce flavour. Both dishes came with sides of salad, miso soup and seaweed salad. Also, they have a self-serve Kewpie roasted sesame dressing which we doused our salad with it. YOLO!

Had a really great experience here! For $20-22 you can get this tonkatsu set with miso soup, rice, seaweed salad + pickles and cabbage! Serves were very generous and honestly the best tonkatsu Ive had in a long time. Batter was light and crunchy, not greasy, and the pork was so tasty. This particular waitress was also very lovely and attentive, she made my day with her compliments we also asked to turn the music down a bit and they were completely fine to do so. Really liked the open atmosphere of the restaurant, place was very clean and bright.
