A place in Adelaide where you can get dedicated rock climbing and bouldering gear, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Edit May 2023: Still great! Have had many good experiences there, all staff have been friendly and polite, the store is sensorially safe to be in and they actually stock climbing shoes! It's mainly scarpa but the staff are patient and knowledgeable.

I always have a great experience when I head into Paddys. Most recent purchase was a quality pair of Scarpa Hiking boots. The team were very quick to offer assistance and within 15 mins I was walking out the door having tried on the perfect pair. Staff are always very friendly and the whole team usually finds a way to say hello!

great little store! lots of clothing , shoes and bags downstairs and upstairs theres climbing, camping gear and books for references. the staff were nice. they chatted with me about climbing and they have a sale section

I was visiting the Adelaide store after travelling from regional Victoria. I emailed the team there a few days before hand with a whole bunch of questions about stock and got a reply from Luke within a few hours which was great. When I went in a got looked after by a few staff and got some great advice from Neil who has great hiking experience. I have very little but wasn't made to feel like a newbie and ended up with some great products which I am very happy with. Really friendly people in the store and up for a chat about all sorts of things. Well worth a visit as everyone there looks after you.
