Warrill Park Lawn Cemetery

Customer telephone / email service was totally unacceptable , relating to my sons cremation and ashes Aug 2022. The final insult was when I collected my sons ashes , which were supposed to be decanted into the urns I purchased at the park ( this was put in writing and accepted via email ) this was not done upon appointment and we were made to feel Less than human and perhaps delay our pick up , despite travelling , preparing mentally for this and booking 2 weeks prior . I have made a formal complaint to Norwood park who is the company Ipswich council have contacted to run the park. I am yet to have a response

This cemetery is a disgrace. I attended my fathers grave to find that there are holes and subsidence everywhere. The Cemetery is not mowed and you think they would make an effort at Christmas. Ipswich City Council and Norwood should be ashamed. I met 2 other people while out there who also complained about their treatment by mowing staff who refused to mow their loved ones grave so they had to bring in turf to fix it before they would even mow it. I had to put lawn seed down to get my dads grave looking good as well as extra soil. All the graves are not level and it is an accident waiting to happen
