    Does take discipline but worth the results. Weight loss, better sleep, reduced resting heart rate, more energy, and I tried new foods that never really appealed to me and found a few I love. And found out I can actually cook. Looking forward to retraining my kids, at least partially.

    I wanted to write this to let people know what I wish I'd known before doing this protocol. In my opinion the Fat Loss Protocol is weight loss at the expense of health NOT a healthy lifestyle program. The physical symptoms to expect and that are normalised while doing this protocol include hair loss, feeling cold, fatigue, dry skin, constipation, inability to tolerate food and many more. I experienced all of the above plus others all of which can occur during starvation. Did I lose weight? Yes. TEMPORARILY Because I was starving! I put it all back very quickly once I resumed a normal balanced diet and it also came with long term mental and physical health consequences for me. Psychologically, the deprivation caused me to become obsessed with food and I also developed extreme health and food anxiety which controlled my life until I got professional help. I also had long lasting functional gut problems and difficulty digesting food. I am not saying this protocol was solely to blame but it made minor existing tendencies exponentially worse. Bottom line if you're having second thoughts about this protocol please trust your instincts and avoid it!

    On my first round I have managed to lose 9kg. It takes a lot of discipline to start with but definitely gets easier, particularly when you begin to see results. I am half through my weight loss journey, will start another round in a few weeks time. I haven't taken any heartburn medication since the first week, I used to have to take it daily. I am more active and feel more energetic.
