We got a quote for a wall unit from this company and attended their office for a pre-arranged appointment to go through some details for the design. On arrival, Ziggy was busy and our turning up seemed like an inconvenience and a surprise. Eventually Ziggy did come over to talk about the final details and we left the drawing of the wall cabinet with him to provide a final quote once he had come out to re-measure. This was 15 December 2021 and I had heard nothing by 10 January 2022 so phoned the office to find out what was happening. no apology or explanation was offered for the lack of contact but I was told Ziggy was unable to find the original quote and that he would need to re-measure (this was understand from our visit on 15 December). I asked for a copy of the drawing to be emailed so we could think about what size TV to buy that would fit with the design as we could not recall the space discussed for the TV. On 19 January I emailed them due to no contact from Ziggy about a re-measure and no copy of drawing provided. A reply email apologised for the delay and offered to send "someone" out to re-measure the following week. I provided a suitable day and a between 10-3 but heard nothing back to confirm if this would be suit or not. The email said "he (Ziggy) will also give you a call regarding an appointment for FRIDAY (their capitals) 28/1/21." Ziggy did not call and there was no further communication until the following Friday 28 January when Ziggy rang to say he was on his way. I had no idea he was coming as he had not called to arrange a specific time as per the last email from them. In the intervening week, I had an online meeting scheduled and could not accommodate the visit at short notice. I need more than 30 mins' notice when I'm working as I am often on the phone or in a meeting. Most people need more than 30 mins' notice?! Ziggy said he would phone the following week and make another time. The weeks passed with no contact from Ziggy so on 25 February I emailed again and explained that Ziggy had not been in contact to schedule the measure up as per the phone conversation on 25 January. No reply. I followed up one more time by email on 16 October 2022. This was 10 months on from our visit to the office to finalise our wall unit design. You guessed it. No reply. Affordable Benchtops and Flatpacks are unprofessional, disorganised, apathetic and a complete waste of time.
