A week and a bit went by and i called them to find out a rough day it would be getting there. They said they would call and found out and give me a call back. Few more days went on still no phone call. so i went back in to the store and asked what was going on. they then said they will call to find out and let me know so i got them to call up why i was there. They came back and said it would be there friday (in 5 more days) "there's been transport problems" ( there's more then one transporting company).
Friday came and i got a call off them saying they ordered the wrong colour/ type or something like that and they it would be another weeks to arrive and that they would give me $50 back. 3% of the quote. (what's the point)
Finally got it 8 days later. Asking if i still wanted that $50 back and gave them all my details again for the 3rd time. 2 weeks on and still no $50.
I will NEVER use them again and I am shocked that a business is actually still running. Would not recommend.

To summarise my experience-
1) Got a quote for the wrong carpet despite going into the shop and picking one type of carpet.
2) Then got given a quote for the right carpet we wanted but told "it's the same price" as the initial wrong carpet we had a quote for. However when we asked a friend to enquire independently about the carpet price- they were given different prices for the 2 carpets, so we were concerned we were being lied to.
3) After the correct order was made, we attempted multiple times to confirm an installation date/estimated timeframe, and finally after 2 weeks, were told, without explanation, that the carpet hadn't even left the warehouse in Melbourne.
4) 8 day delay to receive payment back for refund, despite being emailed on the day of refund request that it would be processed that same day.
Went to another carpet store round the corner who provided an excellent service and constantly communicated with us about our order
Most concerned about the lack of correspondence and updates with our order which was the most frustrating part.
