Dr Mastakov and team are amazing. Very thorough and extremely helpful. Dr Mastakov explains the procedure from before right through to after. The care and attention that goes into his procedure are second to none. Not once did I feel like I wasn't sure. His receptionist is not just a receptionist, but someone who cares and seriously goes out of her way to help, support and care for you. Juanita is amazing. I highly recommend this procedure and Dr Mastakov and team.

I am 2 years post op with Bariatric Surgery performed by Dr Mastakov. I have maintained my goal weight easily and will continue to do so. More importantly, my whole life has been completely transformed. Right from my very first appointment, through to all of my information and support sessions, Dr Mastakov and hospital staff were fantastic. Juanita on the front desk is such a wonderful person and makes me feel at ease with every appointment. Dr Mastakov is very experienced and firm with expertise and ensuring that I am ready for this incredible and transformative life changing operation. Losing nearly half my body weight has given me an inner self confidence that I have never experienced before in my life. Moreover, a recent diagnosis with breast cancer was shocking but all cancer health professionals advise that with me being slimmer and a lot healthier will greatly improve my chances of being cancer free for the future. Its so much easier for me to choose a healthier lifestyle. Dr Mastakov has been mentoring and supporting me for two years post op, he is seriously a wonderful health professional who wants this to work for my lifetime. I can highly recommend Dr Mastakov and his wonderful team. Its always lovely to see Juanitas smiling and sometimes shocked face when you walk in. Dr Mastakov is very professional, knowledgeable and caring. There is no judgement or need for embarrassment. I was extremely fit and physically active until circumstances changed in adulthood, life happened, emotional eating and spiralling weight gain with a sluggish metabolism was the new norm. After trying every alternative for years, and I mean every alternative , including every diet known to man, high intensity training, personal training sessions, medication, hypnotherapy, dieticians and psychologists my general practitioner suggested it was time to consider weight loss surgery.
