Issues with staff on the day, which then led to a limited menu being offered. First time going here, so I was looking forward to having one of the steaks. The only steak on offer was the rump, which was fine, although slightly overcooked.

Our night at the spotted cow was mediocre at best. The $13 cheese and bacon garlic bread came out with three pieces of bacon on each piece. Quite overcooked and barely any butter on the bread. It then took over an hour for the mains to come out which I might add werent hard dishes to concoct being a Chicken parmigiana and a steak sandwich. Both had Dianne sauce added, which instead looked and tasted like a chutney rather then a gravy. Main dishes werent awful but wouldnt go back again based off the price and time of service.

Finally got to visit the infamous Spotted Cow due to the amusing act of stealing the cow last year. (2022) It didnt go far and came back! Short stay, very accommodating staff and will be back for a lunch, the menu looks good. Interesting old building, well kept and has a welcoming atmosphere.
