Signed up online as a new customer on the 19th of this month. Ordered 2 bottles for delivery to Hatton Vale, and charged $188. A few hours later I got a call saying, sorry we don't deliver to Hatton Vale. Said they would cancel my account & refund my money. Its the 21st now, still no refund. I called this morning asking about my refund, was told the Toowoomba branch would call me back to sort it out. It's 1.20pm & still no call & no refund. I'm very mad, your holding my money, it was YOUR mistake & I demand a refund asap. If I could give zero stars for service, I would!

Been with them for 3 yrs. Good service and delivered on time. Last time I went to order took a double take at the price. Had to look around as the price was ridiculous. Went with another company and got 2 bottles for the price of one elgas wanted to charge.

There is a nearly 40% increase in their prices in a year....!!! Near on extortion... It's disgusting what they are now charging. If I had known this before I ordered, I would have gone elsewhere. My advice shop around.

Absolutely would not recommend. Chose Elgas simply because they were the supplier for the old tenant and as we had moved from 8 hours north, we did not have time to shop around and went for the current supplier. We were told there was approximately 3 months worth of gas remaining which was ours to use and to simply order a new bottle when required. After only a few weeks we were out and it took 6 days for them to deliver the new bottle which was not ideal as it was winter in Toowoomba and I had the flu. We received a new customer discount (however the total was still more than the local competitor) and then we were charged an additional $92 service fee only a month later. 2 bottles of gas for a whopping total of $370 ($320 if you include the discount). Overpriced gas, poor service and undisclosed fees. Will definitely be changing to a new company once our bottles are empty.
