Was really excited to go here as its been raves about however I was quite upset with my experience. The stylist I had was fabulous at what she does, she has absolutely nailed the colour I wanted however the prices are ridiculous, I was told $210 on the phone to go brunette and to have a cut and blow dry. As I am consulting with the stylist I was told it was 130 extra to get the blow dry and style, I was baffled so I left with wet hair after my colour. I was upset having to leave with wet hair considering I was changing my colour completely and I wanted to ensure the stylist was happy with her work and I was happy with the colour, luckily I am but I was nervous. Also the workers were sitting on a dining table in front of me talking which was fine but I did hear one of them mention a client they dont like blow drying their hair because of the length and thickness .. which made me uncomfortable as I sit there with long thick hair. Again I am happy with the turn out of colour but not the experience unfortunately. Reply to owners reply: I was under the impression that the gift card had 3 years to be used as in QLD they are supposed to last 3 years so as soon as I realised it had a year I booked in straight away and it was extended a month for me which I am super grateful for so thank you. However, I said no to the blow dry as I was told $130 and I wasnt aware that included a hair cut, which is still quite expensive in my opinion. I wasnt going to say that because I felt embarrassed.

I got my hair done a few weeks ago at edwards and co. I asked for a touch up on my balayage hair. I wanted the colour to be brought a bit closer to my scalp and the blonde to be a little bit brighter. The total price for the colour cut and style was $513. I had high expectations for edwards and co but I am quite disappointed in the results. It looks lovely but I didnt receive the results I had hoped for. The blonde isnt much brighter and the blonde wasnt brought up either. I dont think the work I received was worth the money I paid. The staff were lovely and I love the cut and style I received but I have never paid $513 for a touch up and Im quite upset with the outcome. As someone that is anxious about new hairdressers I could not be happier with my first experience with Edwards and Co Gold Coast. Easy to find with free parking within easy walking distance even on a busy Saturday. I went for a major hair cut from very long dark to super short blonde. Sarah was very thorough in ensuring I was happy every step of the process and knew at all times what was happening. The most adorable salon dog was certainly a huge bonus and the customer service from every staff member was beyond exceptional. I was offered refreshments, snacks and even the opportunity to order uber eats as I was there for most of the morning as I had a scalp bleach plus cut. Water views, clean and tidy salon with great decor. Whilst it was certainly busy the attention to detail and layout ensured at no time was anyone crowded or waiting. I've already booked in my next two appointments and happy to make the one hour drive each way from down the Coast to ensure excellent customer service and professional hair cut and colour from Sarah. I'm in my 50's so have certainly had a lot of hairdressers over the years yet Edwards and Co Gold Coast have set a new high standard for me in salon experiences. Thanks so much Service: Hair coloring
