Dr Nathan Schaefer

Dr Schaefer recently removed a BCC from my nose and performed a flap reconstruction. The surgery went great and only 5 weeks on the scar is hardly noticeable already. Amazing results and I am truly thankful for that.

I am beyond happy with my results after having a BCC removed from my forehead (as well as two moles shaved) I was really worried about having a skin cancer removed from my face but I cannot believe how minimal my scarring is, almost unnoticeable. Dr Schaefer also really makes you feel at ease from the initial appointment to surgery and provides a warm follow up post-surgery. I will only be using Dr Scaefer for any similar surgeries required moving forward.

I was referred to Dr Schaefer from the Melanoma Centre for removal and biopsy of a BCC on the side of my nose close to my eye. Dr Schaefer had the most amazing bedside manner and I felt immediately comfortable. After the initial consultation I was totally confident that he was more than skilled enough to achieve not only the best aesthetic result for me but more importantly he understood my medical history and considered my greater needs from a health perspective. The post surgery results were beyond my expectations and my scar is barely noticeable. Given that the incision was almost 3cm long from just above my eye down the side of my nose I really can't believe how hard you need to look to see it!!! ....I'd post a picture but you wouldn't even be able to tell :-) I can't speak highly enough of Dr Shaefer, his admin team, in room nurses and the team in theatre.
