The staff was friendly especially the front desk and support staff, so for that I give one star. I sat for approximately 3 hours across 4 different rooms for a total of about 20 minutes of tests and then was charged $300. I went to see Dr. Lawrence Lee for a horrifying and life disrupting ailment that has been plaguing me for 8 months. He and his staff performed the same tests you get for free at OPSM at a shopping mall but at a far more rushed and limited scale... then told me I should just ignore the symptoms because he didn't know what was wrong and sometimes there are just no explanations for problems. I told him that I can't just ignore it and need help and he then advised I return to see my previous doctors. While with Dr. Lee in the final room I did not feel he was listening to me, as I had to keep repeating myself and asking him what he was saying... he was oddly talking to himself half the time making no sense. It was an incredibly frustrating and bizarre expeirence, and I expected a far higher calibre of professionalism and confidence. NEVER tell a client to "ignore" something.. patients pay you for real supportive medical advice, plus it is insensitive, possibly dangerous advice.

I worked in theatre at the RBWH with Lawrence and others. Lawrence was my first choice to call to help me with my sight problems. That was 2014. He has operated on my eyes for removal of pterygiums, cataracts and insertion of bilateral intraocular lenses. His ongoing care since then has been exemplary, honest, caring and friendly. The staff have always been wonderful and Lorraine and Louise are so lovely !!!!

The staff at City Eye Centre, both in the city and Southside, have been nothing but forthcoming, compassionate, welcoming and knowledgeable. I have been a patient for close to two decades at this point, and the experience and quality of treatment has been nothing short of professional and dependable. Dr Lawrence Lee and his colleagues have been vital in giving me hope and practical solutions for my numerous concerns regarding my eye health, and if anyone has any doubts regarding the quality and professionalism of the service at City Eye Centre, there is truly no need. Amazing people, invaluable service - couldnt ask for better care.
