Dr Craig Winter was amazing. I originally had an appointment in January, contacted him in December stating I couldn't handle the pain any longer. He pushed my appointment to an earlier date. Being so close to Christmas he referred me for a Cortisone injection, also rushing that so I could have it to try and get over the Christmas break. I went back to see him, the injection had done nothing for my pain levels. My surgery was then booked and completed within 48hrs. He was polite, friendly and very very clear about everything that could and couldn't happen in surgery. Not a single complication and I am now pain free for the first time in 4 years. Thank you so much.

My appointment was at 11.30 am in Kippa-Ring private hospital. I came 10 min earlier, which was enough to complete the forms, but the small waiting room was full with talking patients and screaming babies (1 newborn and another one around 3 y.o). At 11.40 they called for a patient, but it wasn't me. I couldn't seat any longer as I have trapped nerve (C-6, C-7), so I informed receptionist I'd be walking just outside the waiting room door. It was a very hot day and I got back around 12 noon. I was the last one waiting and was called 5-10 minutes after. The conversation with Dr. Winter was less than 10 min and his attitude was: "I couldn't care less as I am too late for my lunch". I rejected pain killers because it aggravates my IBS, I refused to drive to Bracken Ridge for recommended physio therapy (simply because of electrical current shooting through my right arm/hand/fingers and I hold the steering wheel with left hand only). I asked if I could have it local but Doctor was already gone and I was talking to his receptionist and he didn't know if he could send me to Rothwell Physiotherapy. The visit costed me $265 for zero help basically)
