Dr Lee Yang, Gold Coast Brain and Spine Surgeon

I was hit in the neck with 180kgs of Rebar and work cover booked a consultation with Dr Lee Yang. He ignored my MRI report with all my injuries and just blamed it on arthritis. I was 28 at the time. Would highly not recommend this dr as he puts work cover first and peoples health and injurys last most likely to get more people referred to him by work cover. I still suffer from extreme pain with suicidal thoughts each day and on heavy medications. Since his report work cover and sonic health plus didnt even treat me like a person and ran me into the ground. Im glad to see dr lee Yang put his profit befor people health.

It is rare to find a surgeon who is as compassionate as they are skilled. Dr Yang was extremely thorough and clearly dedicated to all of his patients. Choosing the right neurosurgeon is a difficult decision that isnt always in your hands, so I will be forever grateful that my family member was placed under Dr Yangs care.

Having been told i need to see a spine surgeon and nervous about everything the negative mind could conjure up i checked out other Doctors as well as the one i was referred to. after reading the reviews I decided to switch to Dr Yang and everything has been a 5 star positive experience. I had so much help and reassurance from Montanna his receptionist / PA ( hope i got the job title correct :) ) who was nothing short of fantastic , so calming and courteous a real plus even before getting to see Dr Yang . Dr Yang was fantastic, reassuring, and explained everything i needed to know and for a surgeon whose job I guess is to operate, Dr Yang was quick to point out the pros and cons of potential Surgery and suggested management and observation rather than the old slice n dice approach . Very much recommended. Thank you Dr Yang

My family doctor referred me to Dr Lee Liqun Yang after hearing no reply from this referral I phoned only to be told by the Receptionist that after answering a couple of questions one being am I covered by private health insurance and I disclosed no the receptionist then advised Dr Yang does not see anyone who does not have private health cover this is discrimination and extremely sad when the all mighty dollar out ways people's health
