Wow-wow-wow!!! My skin had been breaking out pretty badly for weeks so I booked a facial treatment with Ruby. After my consultation Ruby curated a unique facial to meet my specific needs. This woman knows what shes doing!!! Not only was the entire experience v relaxing but Ruby was super professional and informative. My skin was smooth as glass when I left her spa and has remained clear since - so, Thank you, Ruby!!! Ill definitely be back.

BUYER BEWARE I had eye lash extensions applied for the first time in Sept and my experience was exactly the same as Kathyrn Traill a year ago. The consultation was almost non-existent. I asked for a natural look, wasnt shown any photos to confirm what I liked the look of and was told they knew what to do and that they would look like a person who was at the salon at the time. At the very beginning, the experience was awful. The liquid used to clean my eyelashes ended up in both eyes and was incredibly painful. My eyes had to be flushed before we had even begun. Then after an hour and a half I was told they were finished. When I looked at the results I was horrified, I looked like a Drag Queen, they werent a natural look at all and looked ridiculous!!. When I told her they didnt look like the person who had been in the salon, she replied oh thats because hers are several weeks old and a lot of them have fallen out! I asked for them to be immediately removed (which I was told would cost me over $30)!!! By this stage I was agitated beyond belief. At the end of my experience I was then asked to do a bank transfer to pay for the awful extensions and the removal. There was no available eftpos, which was unbelievable.!! In hindsight this was a blessing in disguise.. I was in a rush to go out that night and was running really late. The owner said she would send bank details for payment!! Fortunately for me, unlike your previous client, I hadnt paid in advance. On reflection of my experience I actually didnt feel that I should have to pay for such a poor outcome. I offered to pay enough for the staff members time and that was it. I didnt hear anything from the owner for nearly 21/2 months. Then out of the blue she messaged me on a Sunday just before Xmas insisting that I pay $100!! She was offering to do another set for no charge, which I understandably declined. Despite this she insisted on me paying. What I couldnt understand was that by not paying and not getting another set of lashes, left her in the same financial position as she would have been, had I paid in full and then had a set put on for free to continue to hassle me for payment has left me furious My advice to any future customers is dont pay anything in advance, dont give her your phone number and if they cant communicate with you clearly enough and show you images of what you will actually look like then walk away! I have ended being badgered into making a payment, not what she wanted but hopefully enough, to not hear from them again The business is , as the previous poor review said, not to be trusted Service: Eyelash extensions

Rubys services is fabulous. During our initial consultation, she knew that I have never done any eyelash extensions, she suggested me to opt for the classic extension. She explained to me in details on the advantage for this option - the more natural lashes look and giving time for myself to get use to the feature of my new look. But Ruby took my desire for a fuller eyelashes look with consideration and agreed that we go with a volume set in the medium length. My lashes would look full but natural. I was wary as I am hypo sensitive to many products (this is reason of my very selective to make up or anything comestic!) My eyes and skin didnt get upset by her products. No skin rash flaring up or irritated tears, what a pleasant surprise! Rubys technique is professional, skilful, patience and her product is gentle. Ruby double checked if I feel uncomfortable throughout the extension work and even took extra time to use a small fan to dry the lash glue. I was surprised (slightly overwhelmed) by the initial result as I looked fairly different than I was. Ruby re-assured me such feeling is normal for a first-timer. She guaranteed me that I can come back and made any change in few days if I still do not feel comfortable. I dont need any changes after all! I havent stopped receiving compliments from clients, friends and even social circle on how great I look. The lashes extensions make my eyes look natural, bigger in such an attractive way. This first extension last me 6 weeks and still looked pretty good, but with Christmas holiday, I want to look special! I have done my second extension with the longest and volume set. After the completion of this extension, I understand immediately the reason of the advice from the first consultation. I would feel uncomfortably weird if go for the biggest effect straight up! But being the second time of lash extensions, I feel more balance with the dramatic effect and able to let myself taking couple days to settle in. Now all I need is some lipstick to look as if decent make up has been put on. From smart corporate work day to a girl night out, I get it done in no time! Service: Eyelash extensions
