    BEWARE - Ray White Scarborough cost us nearly $3000 dollars in damages caused by our tenants. The exit report that was nearly signed off by Ray White did not even include a broken window, destroyed carpets from animals as well basic cleaning expected to done when tenants exit a property. The following run of the mill items were NOT cleaned, basic items we expected Ray White would ensure had been cleaned prior to releasing a bond: all ceiling fans, multiple light bulbs missing or not working, all air-conditioners, window sills inside and out, all blinds were filthy, the oven trays were missing out of the oven, the shed and store room had not even been swept out let alone wiped over, oil stains on the carport, the bins had years of built up grime, floorboards damaged, any cupboards up high had not been wiped out. And many many more items. Had we not asked to look at the property prior to Ray White releasing the bond they were happy to hand the bond back!?!? We have multiple text messages and emails from the property manager and managers giving absolutely absurd reasoning for the pitiful exit report. Our property manager is short so she cannot see if the air conditioners have been cleaned. Really.??? And health and safety stops us from inspecting anything over a certain height. The exit report had to be changed 3 times to reflect to true state in which the tenants left the property. Ray White did nothing but make us feel like we were being unreasonable, like we weee the ones that had done something wrong? Acknowledgment and validation was only given by Ray White after we asked for it. Responsibility though was never truely given. We had to deal with multiple people from Ray White including different management as it would take days to get any response. Again we have multiple emails and text messages to prove this. We asked for the branch manager to contact us regarding this and he made absolutely no attempt to contact us after two requests were left with reception. BE AWARE - we lived interstate and our conditions reports always indicated the property was being look after beautifully. This was a lie - the carpets were completely destroyed by the tenants dogs. The smell of dog urine, sweat and saliva was overwhelming - apparently this had never been noticed at any inspection. The broken window was never reported to us - we found it ourselves and reported it to Ray White. This window was an original 1950s etch scene design which has cost $2500 to replace. There was so much maintenance that had never been reported or documented. The tenants had a bird aviary inside the house without our knowledge as well as 2-3 large fish tanks. The tenants also had unpaid water bills and carpet cleaning cost as well. Please hear this warning - if you want your property cared for and given the service that you deserve please stay away. We have evidence to back up everything on this review. Happy to give names if requested as these people are still currently managing and overseeing properties at Ray White.
