Thank you Pete for the wonderful paving job you recently completed at my place under some very trying weather conditions plus some little extras I needed done. Pete is a very professional & approachable person, nothing is too much trouble. I cannot speak highly enough about Pete & his assistant Zane, such honest hard workers, they leave everything clean & tidy before leaving each day which is very much appreciated. We could not be happier with the service we received from Pete and Zane. They worked through wind and rain to get the job done in a timely fashion. Pete is meticulous in his approach and can call on years of experience to offer advice and suggestions. But what sets him apart is his overall enthusiasm and professional manner. It's no surprise that he is booked months in advance and we count ourselves lucky that he could squeeze us in between bigger jobs. I think he liked the challenge of our "Swiss Cheese" pavers and the end result is something we are going to enjoy for years. If you want your paving done properly, give Pete a call. I enquired about having a small area paved in the next 24-48 hours, a time sensitive manner as we are having a pool excavated. I knew it was a long shot calling and asking but was told that PE Paving would be able to do the job either this afternoon or tomorrow afternoon, just send through a photo of the area and the tiles and he would send through a quote. We were ready to accept any quote but never received one, despite sending through photos straight away. The end of that business day I sent through a text asking if the images were received. The next morning I sent another text, followed up by four phone calls over the next few hours, all to be met by this caller is busy, please try again later; no chance to leave a message. I suspected my number was blocked and called from my partners phone and got through straight away and spoke to the owner who then said he never received the images and was told that he had been having trouble with his phone. I like to give people benefit of the doubt but this time I really dont believe him since my first call on another number went through straight away, no problems. Anyway, I was told there was no way he could complete the job that afternoon and I was left high and dry. Had I known that they could not or did not want to do this job in the first place I would have called other paving businesses and tried my luck there. We have a lot of paving to be done around our house and its definitely not going to be done by these guys who stuffed us around straight up. Very disappointed as it looks like they have a lot of great reviews previously.
