Taste of Old Hong Kong

Unfortunately not much good to say about this place. We organised to have lunch here for my mother in law's birthday, the mains were brought out immediately after the entrees were served. The Hainan chicken was brought out with blood on it, then waited another 15 to 20 minutes for it to still have traces of blood whilst my side dish of rice was then cold. We had brought a birthday cake for my mother in law and asked for it to be brought to the table only to have the waitress bring it out and place it on the table still in its original Tupperware container with the candles still in packaging inside. What a joke! Needless to say we were completely humiliated and will never return.

Went there for lunch during Easter Saturday. It wasnt busy but waited for 20 mins for my soy sauce braised duck, waited another 10 mins for the stir fried pipis. Very annoying that out food didnt not come out at the same time. The food though was alright, could be better but definitely above average. Portion size was big. Overall Im happy for a $20 lunch set but the long wait time may stop me going back.

Amazing delicious food that is well priced. The pork belly bao is my go to on date night. Lovely authentic setting & great staff. Highly recommend for a cute date night meal
