REA Solar

Ordered Tesla Powerwall 2. Installation date was determined by REA no problem. Day before install I was contacted and told Tesla had supply issues and that install was cancelled. This came after REA confirming the install was fine the week prior. REA then decided it could be done at 1pm at the original planned date and just did not show up at all or even take 1 minute to call. New date set turning up at 9am and they turned up at 6:30am?. Since install having sporadic issues with power circuits tripping. Installer came back on day and replaced some safety switches. New electrician coming to check over the whole installation because I have just had enough of REA. What made it worse is that I contacted 3 of their competitors and none of them had supply issues from Tesla. Joke

Satisfied with our dealings with REA Solar and very impressed with the system so far, given we have a shaded roof situation. Justin was professional and informative (senior advisor). The installation went well and the installer worked hard and was pleasant mannered. Highly recommend the business.

We had the most positive and 5 experience with the team from REA. We engaged with REA and were contacted by Guy Murphy the REA Solar Energy Advisor. Guy was so knowledgeable about all the systems available and took the time to listen to what our main objectives were, and designed the system in line with our needs. There was a small issue with the delivery date being delayed. This was dealt with professionally and promptly, which continued to give us the confidence that wed chosen the right solar provider. Once the installation date arrived, the team turned up early and even gave recommendations about a change of layout of the system - giving us more energy capability. They cleaned up after themselves and you wouldnt have known that they had been. Further follow up communication after the install between Guy and ourselves cemented the fact, that we had selected the best company. He talked us through their app that we are able to use, to fully monitor our system. We have absolutely no hesitation, in recommending this local Redlands business to anyone out there who requires a solar system. Thank you Matt and Sarah Bray

Multiple small issues made the experience stressful. Installation dates confused dates, sorted after calling several people but, cost me a wasted day off work. Actual installation went well but did not install required timer, requiring another morning lost. Then delays in getting smart meter installed by power retailer due to delayed registration of system. Acknowledge some of this due to new contractor learning process but, company is responsible for minimising stress of installation. As per system, very happy once finished. Follow up call from agents after installation would have be good, considering cost.
