Needs to be more disabled parking at main entrance. Not nearly enough and disabled peoplr cant walk from new parking area.

Reluctantly my 78 years old husband with age related problems sought help at the ED of this hospital Understandably, an overworked doctor was not able to get too involved with the protracted problems of a little old man. A urine test and a limited MRI did not show signs that urgent intervention was required . Sent home with the advice to take Nurofen. Mater Hospital Townsville had neither sympathy nor a cure for old age. I suppose , who has ?

Visitor. Good staff: friendly and informative. Good caff. Need to hunt around for affordable/free parking, but can be found if you're willing to walk.

The food is an absolute disgrace. The lack of discharge procedures caused unbelievable post operative trauma. The worst day of my entire life was the result of my first private hospital stay. Never again!
