Of the two there that day, one girl in particular was quite cold and impolite; even pointedly being passive aggressive in remarks when I made a small mistake. Later, she was behind the counter, slouched back in her chair scrolling through social media whilst the other receptionist worked. She was chatting away to her coworker who was working and patrons seemed like a negligible aspect to her. Its almost like she didnt work there.
I didnt want to create conflict, so I kept my mouth shut, but Im not sure why she was so rude to me. Maybe having an off day, but very poor customer service skills, nonetheless. Left me feeling a little insecure and inadequate when I left.
