My opinion on the Windsor 176 RD 2021 model is we loved the layout and its good to tow but thats where it stops not impressed with the way its put together very poor quality control. Below is our experience owning one.
1 Trip one Horrocks 120ks repair drain pipes and dish water going into shower.
Also TV Ariel plug broke of as the ariel lead was to stiff and short to allow for adjustments had to modify leads and send out for repair at a cost of $120.
2 Trip to Mt Barker 2000ks repair leaking water pipe in toilet, repair bad connection main light wiring, tighten screws falling out of kitchen drawers, Cleaned brakes after bad job on first service grease left in drums, wired up charging system from car to caravan which was part of purchased deal which was not honored. Waited 3 months for the standard Gen and gas bottle box for the front which was also part of purchase deal but could not supply so had to settle for an inferior Gen box on its own. Generator box fitted with a thin bracket and in the wrong place car hit gen box when turning and damaged rear of car, had to fit in another spot also needed to change gas bottels to smaller size to fit.
3rd trip. Nanga bay 800ks again draws falling apart in kitchen and cupboards this time screws were stripped in the wood.
4th trip Broome 4500km Microwave oven damaged because mounting screws pulled out as they were to short.
Bathroom door came lose and screws stripped in roof which holds door cover to roof, Water pump stopped operating and needed a hit to get it going again also pump can not get the last 60lit of water out as the outlets on the tanks were to small and the hole drilled in the wrong place to line up with out let and blocking half the hole. More Screws falling out of cupboards. Also kitchen cupboard under sink cant be locked due to the door being so out of alignment and needed bottom to have 6mm spacer fitted to realign. Fitted new microwave and mounted correctly, removed all kitchen draws and glued using sickaflex. Went on 2500k trip to Bunbury all went well except water pump under van leaking water when
mains connected, repaced water pump with new one.
In December 2021 3 month eastern state trip. On the way over top kitchen draw on the floor due to plastic latch lock broken replaced with new lock. On the way back same draw same thing happened replaced lock again and modified draw with lock bolt as standard locks no good.
Next trip in December 2022 Domitic fridge stopped working carnt be looked at for 5 weeks. Also on same trip second draw in Kitchen on the floor due to broken lock these locks are absolute rubbish will need to replace this as well and modify with another lock bolt. Fridge in for repair under warranty gas pipe had broken needed a complete new internal workings.
