Dr Cox & Michelle run a friendly & efficient practice from their suites within Noosa Hospital. I highly recommend them after having two partial knee replacements (left & right) over the past two years.

Hi, I had my hip replacement operation in August 2021. Dr James didn't kill me so that was a good start. The normal hip operation is a vertical incision around 200mm or so either front or side of hip. With me (I don't know whether I was a guinea pig or not) Dr James made an approximate 100mm posterior incision (my bum) Around 3hrs after I woke in the ward after the operation the physio's had me up and walking. I felt a bit woozy but my leg did not fall off which was a plus. Within 3 weeks I was up on the house roof repairing gutters. Now 6 months later I do not even have an incision scar, and have better use of my leg and flexibility in my hip than I've had for years. I think the main reason for James being a top surgeon and a good bloke to boot is due to wearing R.M. Williams boots. I can say no more. David Hughes

As a person in my early 40s who needed bi-lateral total hip replacement surgery (yes both hips & total), I was terrified at the process and had already delayed for a number of years. From day 1 Dr Cox and I were on the same page on what needed to happen, and he answered all my questions, even if they seemed silly or odd. Then when I thought up some more questions, Michelle coordinated the answers. I found Dr Cox to be approachable, considerate, thorough and understanding, with Michelle who completes the package at ensuring you feel very comfortable and reassured with the whole process. I am now 12 months post op and I have no regrets. I am now able to get on with my life and enjoy without pain, something I cannot thank Dr Cox and Michelle for enough.
