We enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Winston's. Both the food and service were excellent. We chose the matched wines with the lunch; the sommelier did suggest a good wine which we were keen to try, but we opted the matched wines. The man on the table next door said the sommelier's suggestion was great - he gave us some of his to try! Each course was beautifully presented, with interesting flavours, textures and colours and we loved them all. The location is sublime over looking Noosa River.

Hands down to Chef Cameron and his lovely wife (forgive me I didnt catch your name) we were served by his wifes super lovely and professional. We were also waited by several friendly staffs and they all took their time to explain every dishes. I wont go into details on each dish, youll have to come here to know how every dish just WHOA you ! Its a whoa factor that all the flavor dancing in your mouth using local ingredients. We were lucky to have dined in here with the beautiful sunset. Its a pop up restaurant and if you read this review you gotta book ASAP ! Thank you for a lovely evening.

Severely average. After hearing nothing but the highest praise for the former restaurant 'Wasabi' I left thinking that Winston was probably merely a shadow of what was lost. Although the service was impeccable and the staff warm, welcoming and professional, the menu was inconsistent and at times very lazy. Not lazy in terms of preparation as everything was executed well, and I know how much time and effort goes into each dish, but lazy in terms of innovation and imagination. Convoluted in its motif or theme, it seemed the term 'Modern Australian' had lost its true meaning and had turned into 'flavours of the world'. The wine pairing made sense on the palate but not in its origin, again a mix of international and local wines with no consistent story or concept. As a hospitality professional I appreciate the effort and craftsmanship that went into this venue but not sure if I would recommend it. For the price point it seems the only thing that justified it was the service and location.

Great service throughout the night. Had an excellent dry Martini, loved the potato bread with Macadamia and saltbush dip. I didn't love some of the combinations of the individual dishes but everything was executed with absolute care and craftsmanship!
