How long has La Vida been a thing in Noosa? Wandered past this afternoon and saw "Cocktails & Nibbles" on a board out the front, well....who doesn't like nibbles & cocktails? Had a cocktail they recommended and it was great, don't know what it was but had a really tasty passion fruity foam on top which was just right, then I asked them to make me a Boulevardier...OMG....yum. Anyway, big tick for the drinks.....and the food was brilliant too, the Calamari was NOT what I was expecting, and I'm really happy about that! None of that deep fried crumby stuff, it was fresh pan fried Calamari sheets(?, not rings) with a garlic aioli that was delish! And for my deep fried needs after all the drinks, the fish and chips were awesome too. My girl had some other stuff that she seemed pretty happy with, but I couldn't go past the Calamari or Fish & Chips....and the Boulevardier. 10/10, and so much better that some of the fancy overpriced places that we've visited in Noosa....we'll be back! Oh, and they were really happy to have our doggo there as well, so refreshing!

My Husband booked this Restaurant online and mentioned it was for my Birthday, the waitress was quite friendly and took our order, the surprise came when I ordered a Gin and Tonic in a tall Glas, she asked very quickly if I wanted a double, not sure if that's what they normally do when ordering a tall Glass I said yes, when it came it was in a Martini Glass and way too strong so I asked if it could be poured into a tall Glass with perhaps a bit more Tonic Water, it came back and was drinkable. We ordered a cheese Platter after the Main Course, which was quite nice. There was no mention at anytime about my Birthday, which makes you wonder why they say to let them know if it's a Birthday or another Special Occasion? Oh and we were charged $ 33 for a Glass of Gin and Tonic !!! Which is absolutely ludicrous!! All in all a Disappointing Experience, especially since it's the first time we tried it and would have loved to go back but not after this....
