Get him around if you need lawn mowed. He wont hesitate to fill those extra gaps weather they need servicing or not. Quite the hands on service that you dont need around the place.

I second Kerrie, it is unusual and questionable to be asked to pay 50% upfront; however, I can understand that if some country folks don't pay (as he claimed) then fair enough. He did our initial electrical work, more the way he wanted than I wanted it; e.g. double RCDs vs single RCDs; a joint in the underground conduit was not reduced with the proper bushing, but with tape; considering I went through the effort to route the conduit through the slab, termites will like the possible entrance once discovered. Tradies are a species on their own; quality work is hard to find; based on that I rate it OK, borderline dislike... judge for yourself where you want to do business.
