The Dock Mooloolaba

The share plates sounded good but were disappointing for the prices charged. $28 for Sizzling Mooloolaba Prawns and we got 5 tiny prawns with microscopic pieces of chorizo in a dish that looked like it had all just been thrown in there - no presentation at all. The four lamb ribs ($24) had about one mouthful of lamb on them. The scallops were acceptable but for $26 - 4 medium sized. Thats $6.50 for a scallop that wasnt jumbo. The Korean buffalo wings were probably the only highlight but werent that warm when served. And dont order the cocktails - the coconut margarita was soooo syrupy we couldnt drink it. Complete waste of $21. Go across to Boston Shaker Bar for a proper cocktail with alcohol in it for $4 more. And to top off a really disappointing night of food, our waitress was a shocker. Not a smile to be had and literally dumped our food and drinks in front of us like she was serving up food in a prison! Atrocious hospitality skills! Wouldnt go back there in a hurry.
