DO NOT do business with these people. They will get you to sign the contract as soon as possible and lie about not increasing the price or having the opportunity to leave but once you sign, they make sure to over charge you as much as they can. To make it worse, they come up with all kinds of excuses to extend the building time. Even to start building they will take at least 6 months longer.

DO NOT BUILD WITH THOMPSONS SUSTAINABLE HOMES! I bought in stage 1 at Carseldine Village. My contract was executed back in November 2020 and I still don't have a house yet they have built plenty of other homes in the meantime. They have been extending this whole time using the COVID-19 excuse. They have just extended it another three months which brings it to September 2023. I expect another extension and from what I am reading the nightmare won't be over with shotty work. Save your precious time and money! Stay clear from this company. I can't express my disappointment enough. worst experience! Please don't bother responding with your generic response. If you have low budget and have enough time to wait for you house finising building, then pick this comapany. I have asked about the poor quality of slab, then they said they have over 20 years experienc. I doubt it. Then, I outsourced stage building inspection. they made report saying that ' slab work is poorly done. it needs to be fixed.' However, they just cover up. I dont even have experience about the building but I can even tell work is poorly done. there are other houses from other building company started 2month later than thomson , they already overatke process way far. I just hope they finish their work. Good luck with this company.
