Felt that they were very professional and helpful especially as this was our very first time to do a camping road trip. Always within reach on the phone if we had any questions. Certainly recommend them.

Easy online booking for a 3 berth camper from the Gold Coast. Picked up the van with no issues. The van included camp chairs, table, many kitchen utensils and crockery. I opted to take my own bedding. The van was able to hold 20L of water with a working sink and tap, a 2 burner gas stove, and a 50L fridge. Multiple bright lights, and great curtains for privacy at night. So much storage in the area above kitchen and bed, and Im 57 and was able to stand up inside the van at the kitchen area. Comfortable bed at night,transforms to table and lounge if you want during the day, but I left as the bed laid out the entire time. I only got about 400km to a fuel tank which became troublesome on long stretches of roads in Central Queensland, I just had to fill up at every town. There was just no cruise control, which became painful on long journeys. I didnt need to use powered sites at caravan parks to run the power, it was able to charge whilst driving around 3+hours a day. For amentities, I pulled up on the roadside or car parks next to a toilet block overnight, and used beach showers. All in all, a perfect little Van for a week away to explore the sights. Highly recommended!

I rented a hi-ace van for the second time through Breakfree Campers. I dealt with Daniel from Mermaid Beach. When I picked up the van it was clean tidy and had all the amenities, it actually had everything down to the knives and forks, extremely handy. For 19 days I toured Qld. The van was great on fuel and most importantly reliable. Im now organising for a group to hire 5 vans next year and go on a convoy. They even said they can cater of that. Ive hired vans and cars before and I can honestly say no one but not one was as easy to deal with and helpful. Pack your bags and give them a call, life is for living. Thank you so much
