Commonwealth Bank Maroochydore Branch

After calling 132221 yesterday twice and waiting 43min and over 1 hour only to be cut off twice. I then called the Maroochydore Branch as my parents have been account holders for over 20 years. My Dad is 97 and in Aged Care and my Mother is 94 and has just come out of hospital after a heart attack. They received a letter to renew a Term Deposit. All we wanted to do was to Reinvest the whole amount for another 12 months. I was told that my father would need to call and leave a message and they would call back today. No call back. As my Dad is very hard of hearing I was trying to help. I am very disappointed with the way this has been not attended to. I thought we could look after our elders a lot better. I am glad I do not bank with the Commonwealth Bank. Commonwealth Bank. Commonwealth Bank.

Commonwealth needs to do some improvements at this branch. Unfortunately the service and customer service is way behind mostly commonwealth. Please look into it !!!

I changed banks from Commonwealth over five years ago due to poor customer service. I have since been contacted by Commonwealth Bank about money they owe me, which I can only retrieve from visiting a branch. I have attempted multiple times to visit the Commonwealth Bank Branch in Sunshine Plaza (the only local branch for my area) with wait times exceeding an hour each time I am met by the greeter. On a positive note; the Greeter Diedre is very nice and professional and a pleasure to deal with, although the branch is obviously understaffed and unable to handle the number of customers requiring help. Hopefully, one day, I will have an hour during a work day to get my money back from Commonwealth Bank. I will take a packed lunch and novel.

Thought Id apply for a credit card...Took 1 month for commonwealth bank to process this....1 MONTH, 4 weeks i needed it a month ago... Such a simple process became so difficult and all the faults were at their end.
