Family Thais: Lamom's Thai Tucker and Takeaway

We showed up around 11 and ordered the papa salad, green curry and fish cakes. We saw them pull a fish out in the kitchen so everything is fresh. It's a small takeaway spot, but the food is solid. The fish cakes were definitely the highlight and tasted fresh and well balanced. The spice in the green curry pulled out the flavours even though on first bite the suace tasted a bit more watery than I'm used to. My biggest suggestion is to maybe hit the papa salad with a bit more lime to give it a kick since its on the sweeter side.

Amazing Thai Food. Had the red curry, tom yam, and pad ka pao. Best Ive had in Cairns. Highyl recommend!

OMG I know why they get 5 stars. The flavours are amazing. True authentic Thai food, highly recommended and they don't charge ridiculous prices.

The best Thai we have ever had!! Weve tried so many Thai restaurants in Melbourne and South East QLD but this place tops them all!! A cosy environment and excellent service by the owners. Cant get any better than here!
