Bought a Protech 3d filament printer, very happy with product, once you know how to get and save files, very easy to use. Edit...use 2 sheets of paper for tip/bed gap, bed at 65, nozzle temp 205+. Using Cura

Staff member was trying to sell the most expensive cameras, rather than what I was after.

Disappointed in the misinformation provided in regards to modified sine wave inverters. They are perfectly fine for powering a laptop or desktop. I can understand wanting to prevent customers from damaging their equipment, but it's disappointing to hear the things I did, said with such confidence and unwillingness to check what they were saying. Even the UPSs sold at Jaycar, specifically for computers, use a modified sinewave output.. One of the staff members was a bit more laid back about it, confirmed that they hadn't actually had anyone come in with a damaged laptop (which is the opposite of what the rather enthusiastically confident young man had been saying, saying "90% of the ones we've sold for laptops have come back and the laptop was damage), and was interested to know how I went with it and asked for me to call back and let them know how it went. I called back, unfortunately getting the overly enthusiastic young man, who then changed to saying how it will damage the hard drive.. this is not true. The majority of UPS systems are running a modified sinewave inverter - you can get more expensive sinewave ones, but even the UPS sold by Jaycar, specifically for computers, use a modified sine wave output.. i.e. the MP5205 and MP5207. They are both "Output Waveform modified sine wave". I then realised that they must be confusing square wave with modified sinewave (we all make mistakes?), and when I said that he may be thinking of square wave, he out right told me that "square wave is modified sine wave".. which it isn't. On the modified sine wave inverter I bought, the MI5128, It even mentions on the Jaycar website "Perfect for laptop charging and small mains powered devices." The whole situation/interaction is very baffling.
