It's been 1 month since we shifting into our new boutique home built by Gold Coast Homes. We absolutely love living here and wanted to complement Mick Berry and his extended team on such a wonderful house and on such a wonderful building experience. When we first looked for a building company we wanted a company that would allow us to be closely involved in all aspects of the building process. Mick allowed us access at all stages of the build which encouraged us to check on progress literally every day. He took care to ensure we were happy and that the house was being built to our expectations. All of the Gold Coast Home subcontractors took great pride in their work. The quality of the build is very obvious. Our house takes advantage of a northerly aspect - it is full of light and has excellent air flow. We wanted polished concrete floors which many builders are not keen on but Mick was happy to not only do this but also make sure that the red soil here in Cleveland was not tramped into the house to get ingrained into the floor. Our house was designed by Gary Dupen. It features 3 separate living areas, higher ceilings, steel frames, a large northern and a smaller western deck, a very substantial garage with laundry, central air conditioning and a bank of solar panels for power. We love how we are able to move seamlessly between inside to outside. The house looks great from the street too. Gold Coast Homes have our highest recommendation.
