I went in for PDT treatment to may face with some persistent sunspots that I had for several years. I had seen several sundoctors on the Sunny coast with differing views on how to treat them. I saw Dr Daniel Bothma who was very knowledgeable and explained the PDT process in detail. I was nervous at first but the Team were great, very friendly and answered all my questions. I am over the moon with the result, in all it took about 10 days before I was pretty well back to normal, pain wasn't as bad as I expected either. I will be using DermaSurg for all my future skin checks, cant recommend them highly enough

One star is too generous. i found Dr Bothma to be very abrupt and felt he rushed, no personal care. I had PDT therapy, my face was burnt to the Dermis my GP, Haematologist and Skin Care Therapist were horrified. I have had this therapy before several years ago with another practice and they showed much more professional and more care was taken with the procedure. He also recommended I have a sun cancer cut out of my arm. $259 gap, my GP did it bulk billed. Would not recommend him would not want what happened to me to anyone else. Everyone that saw the pictures of e were horrified. my husband had also been seeing him for 12 months before me but my husband will not be going back after what he did to me.

Lovely experience at DermaSurg Skin Clinic, Dr Bothma especially is an amazing clinician and made me feel very comfortable. I had a skin check procedure done and Daniel showed great compassion, empathy, and care. Also Lee-Ann at reception is amazing. Highly recommend DermaSurg.

Highly recommended for any form of skin checkup. I've been treated by Dr Bothma on multiple occasions for recurring forms of follicultis. Not only has he vastly improved this issue, he has provided valuable information on other skincare routines and my skin is looking healthier by the day. He's a very experienced and knowledgeable dermatologist, and makes sure the patient is comfortable and confident during the entire process. The pricing is fair, and cheaper than some of the other clinics I've been to. The other staff are also kind, helpful and attentive, particularly Lee-Ann at the front desk. All in all, I've had a great experience with DermaSurg.
